The Laudium Care Services for the Aged hosted their Annual General meeting at the Sunrise school hall on Tuesday, November 12 where members of the public and interested stakeholders were invited to attend.
The event was very well attended by important role players in the community. The new board was sworn in by Maher Tayob of Tayfin.
The honorary Board members were commended for their commitment and dedication. Volunteers were recognized for their invaluable contribution.
A floating shield was presented to various corporate sponsors for their continued financial support.
Social worker, Rooki Soma, in her report discussed the various programmes and services offered to the community.
The highlight of the day was the announcement by Mr. Tayob of Tayfin “who pledged to donate a vehicle to transport the seniors to the various service centers.”
